Over twenty years ago, on this very day Jurassic park premiered and set into motion one of the best sci-fi movies series. Not only was it a wonderful movie for entertainment value it was also a movie that brought in fantastic technics that revolutionized movie making, of course including the aid Industrial Light & Magic did to make complete and detailed living creatures(I.E. the Dinosaurs) for the first time with digital technology.
After the first movie's 3D reissue back in 2011 it peaked over and became the 17th film to surpass $1 billion in ticket sales, and naturally is one of the highest-grossing films of all time.
In much sadder news, The brilliant Sir Christopher Lee has passed away. :sad:
